Muralists will be wrapping up their pieces, so stroll around town and check-out all the collaborative art that happened in your town all week long! Set-up for Saturday's closing Food Truck Rally Celebration kicks off at 2:00 p.m.!
Closing Celebration to meet some of the artists, view the murals and more during the Food Truck Rally in the Depot Parking Lot (behind 205 N. Walnut Street.) From 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. enjoy culinary art from approximately 13 food trucks, enjoy a locally crafted brew & music!
Looking for more ways to get involved as an artist? As in years past, the Howell Art Project brings a competitive component - with a twist! The first 30 people interested in creating a piece of art on canvas, can come to the Howell Main Street/DDA office at 118 W. Clinton Street to pick up a 16” x 20” canvas during Art Week between the hours of 11am-1pm, and 4:30-6:30 p.m. The canvas art can then be submitted for public vote later this summer, with some artists’ work being selected to adorn the side walls of downtown buildings in the fall.
Community Mural: All ages and abilities are welcome to join us and paint a portion of the Community Mural located at our Howell Main Street Inc./DDA office, 118 W. Clinton St. Volunteers will be onsite to help all interested painters between the hours of 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., or 4:30-6:30 p.m. May 13-17.
